Small Moons and Rings of Neptune

@ Zoom

https://youtu.be/_6dziYG6EDU

Presenter: Dr. Matthew Hedman (University of Idaho).
Topic: Small Moons and Rings of Neptune
Abstract: In addition to Triton, Neptune is surrounded by a complex system of smaller moons and rings. Many of these objects are likely remnants of Neptune's original satellite system and so can provide information about the nature of the solid materials that originally surrounded the Ice Giants. The inner moons and rings also exhibit a rich array of dynamical interactions that can provide insights into how material orbiting a planet can coalesce, fragment, migrate and evolve.
